In news today, a professional footballer was spotted not having his hair dyed, not having it short up the sides and back with a loaf shape on top, not having a shaved in side parting, and not having a tattoo, and not wearing a big pair of headphones like Craig f***ing David. It's a disgrace. What sort of example is that to the youngsters? They'll be wearing black football boots and socks turned down below the knee next.

My university team used to dye their hair for playoffs but they were called the Golden Bears, so it kind of made sense, while looking silly at the same time.

For a truly stereotypical footballer you forgot the hairband, fake bandage on wrist and bleached white teeth ala Firmino. I always think when he plays Liverpool don't really need to turn the floodlights on.

I used to wear ALL BLACK boots.. adidas.... couldn't remember what the name of them was but used to buy a pair every year in the US... I looked the part... in the changing room AND on the pitch....

At one point, I believe, black boots were considered unbearably flash.
Brown boots were worn by more unassuming players
